ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Award (2024)

ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ offers a £2,000 fee waiver for previous ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ students choosing to return to study a full-time Masters degree. There are unlimited awards available and, regardless of how long ago you studied at ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ, any graduate of the University – who graduated with either a Bachelors, Masters or PhD – is eligible.

Eligibility

  • Who is eligible

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Have graduated from ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ with a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree
    • Have accepted an offer of a place on an eligible full time Masters course to start in September 2024
    • 2024 graduates from Bachelors degrees at the ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Artificial Intelligence Institute, Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJSU) are eligible for the ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Award
  • Who isn’t eligible

    You are not eligible for this scholarship if you:

    • Are applying for a Masters at a university that is not at the ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ
    • Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ
    • Studied at one of our partner institutions (i.e. BIMM or ISC)
    • Studied at a UK University’s overseas campus or external programme
    • Already hold another ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ scholarship (i.e. ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Graduate Scholarship)
    • Are studying one of the Excluded courses listed below.
  • Excluded courses

    You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:

    • Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
    • Courses at Brighton and ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Medical School (BSMS)
    • Courses at IDS
    • Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
    • Degrees in Social work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
    • Online courses
    • Schools direct teaching courses
    • Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)

How to apply

You can register your interest in the ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Award via the PG Apply portal after you receive an offer of a place to study on an eligible course.

When you are asked to accept the offer of a place, you will be invited to register for the award. If you have applied via one of our overseas representatives, you will need to ask them to do this on your behalf.

You must declare your interest in the scholarship via PG Apply before you register on your Masters degree.

Timetable

The award is paid as a tuition fee discount, applied when you register for your chosen Masters in September. If you require a visa to study at ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ, the scholarship and fee reduction will be included on your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study), provided by Admissions for your visa application.

Terms and conditions

The scholarship is subject to the following:

  • Applicants must have accepted an offer to study an eligible Masters course in 2024
  • Applicants must have also met any conditions of their university offer
  • Applicants who are awarded another ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ scholarship will no longer be eligible for the ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Award
  • Applicants must have sufficient funds to cover the balance of academic and living expenses
  • Applicants may be invited by the University to assist with promotion (to a maximum of 40 hours per year)
