Starting a doctorate can seem daunting, so if you’re not sure where to start why not have a read of our suggestions below for settling into life as a doctoral researcher at ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ.

3. Create records of your supervision meetings using ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Direct
5. Have a look at the ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Research Hive in the Library- a dedicated work and meeting space for researchers
6. Start thinking about your training and development needs
7. Join in with some online researcher communities
