Using Yellow Forms / The Oracle database from home

Using a PC

You do not need to connect to your desktop machine on campus to use Yellow Forms from home – you simply open an IE browser window directly on your PC after connecting via the VPN.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Connect to the VPN using GlobalProtect.  If you haven’t got GlobalProtect setup on your PC, please refer to the VPN connection instructions, or .
  2. Open Internet Explorer
    (Yellow Forms won’t work in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or any other browser)
  3. Visit the ITS Business Applications page
  4. Follow the link to Login to the database
  5. Log in using your ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ username and your database password (this may not be the same as your usual ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ password)

Using a Mac

  1. Connect to the VPN using GlobalProtect.  If you haven’t got GlobalProtect setup on your PC, please refer to the VPN connection instructions, or .
  2. Launch the Microsoft Remote Desktop app
  3. Connect to Remote Desktop
  4. Launch Internet Explorer on the Remote Desktop
  5. Visit the ITS Business Applications page
  6. Follow the link to Login to the database
  7. Log in using your ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ username and your database password (this may not be the same as your usual ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ password)
