Description of work:
We have picked a date in July to perform essential testing and maintenance on core components of the network. This work is essential to keep the network secure, but it will cause interruptions to services for several hours.
Please contact itservicedesk@sussex.ac.uk if you’re aware of any important University business that could be impacted by interruptions to the services below.

You will notice a number of interruptions to services during this work, including:
- Wi-Fi and wired networks on campus and in residences
- The ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ website
- ÐÔ°®ÊÓƵ Direct
- Business Applications
- Internet access.
Why are we doing this work?
We have been working with our suppliers for several months to thoroughly check the resilience of core components of the network. This is an essential next step in this work.
